Danz Force History

Danz Force was founded in 1994 by Sheila Mobley.  The program was originally named NCA SuperSquads, and the first year there were 22 girls enrolled.  In 1999 the program was renamed, Danz Force.

Danz Force has had the privilege of performing at places such as Disneyland Magic Music Days, Alamodome in San Antonio, Carnival Cruise Ship “ Holiday ”, Dallas Convention Center, Six Flags in Dallas , Sea World in San Diego, Special Olympics, UNM Lobo halftime, University of North Texas, and several Las Vegas Competitions.  Local events include the Doctor/Lawyer Charity Basketball Game, sporting events as well as many homecoming, Christmas and Connie Mack Parades (winning top awards in all).

The teams have also competed in many local, state, and national competitions. Top honors include 1995 NCA Dance All Star National Champions, 1999 NCA Dance Nationals - 5th place.  Individual awards - 1 member was the 2000, 2002 and 2005 NDA Dance National Solo Champion, others have placed 3rd-6th in their age divisions.  Other team awards include many Sweepstakes, 1st Place and Solo Awards.

In 2002 we were very proud to have had the opportunity to move into a facility that is 4 times larger than our previous studio.  With this move were able to add gymnastics to our curriculum and our name became Danz Force/Gym Force.

Danz Force was also voted Daily Times Readers Choice for Dance Studios in 2002 and 2005.
