Sheila Mobley

What is your "day" job?
Sheila: I own and run a store called Patina here in Farmington.  

Where did you attend college?
Sheila: Kilgore College in Kilgore, TX

What previous experience do you have in dance?
Sheila: I was a Kilgore Rangerette in College.  My coaching credits include Bloomfield High School KitKats (3 time State Champions), Farmington High School Kelly Greens (2 time State Champions), Piedra Vista High School Panteraz.  I was also a National Dance Alliance Head Instructor for 8 years.

Alicia McCuller
Dance  Instructor - Little Dippers, Twinkles, Galaxy

 

How long have you worked at Danz Force? 
Alicia: This will be my 12th season.

What is your "day" job?
Alicia: I work with my family at Riley Industrial Services.

Where did you attend college?
Alicia: I attended San Juan College here in Farmington.  I have an Associate's Degree in Internet Technology.  

What previous experience do you have in dance?
Alicia: I began taking dance lessons when I was three years old.  I took ballet, pointe and jazz classes until I was 14 years old.  I was a member of the National Dance Alliance for 2 years, in which I taught summer camps across the country.  I started working with Sheila when I was 15 just as an assistant. 

I attended a Summer Intensive through Broadway Dance Center in New York City in Summer 2006.  The choreographer I worked under was Brian Freidman.  Brian is a choreographer and dancer for Britney Spears ( A Slave for you ), Pink, Usher, and many more.  He is also one of the judges for "So you think you can dance".  It was an awesome experience!!

I also have my own choreography business, in which I do camps for high schools in New Mexico and Colorado.  I have choreographed Roswell High School's State Competition Routines for the past 8 years.  They are NM 4A State Champions in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

How long have you worked at Danz Force? 
Kandis: I have worked at Danz Force for 8 years.

What is your "day" job?
Kandis: I work for ConocoPhillips.

Where did you attend college?
Kandis: I am attending San Juan College.

What previous experience do you have in dance?
Kandis: I was a Tiger Paw at Aztec High School.

Jamey Jones
Gymnastics Instructor - Monday Classes

How long have you worked at Danz Force? 
Jamey: This is my third season.

What is your "day" job?
Jamey: I am a special education teacher.

Where did you attend college?
Jamey: I attended both University of New Mexico and Kansas State University in Manhantten, KS.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Multi-Cultural Urban Education.  

What previous experience do you have in gymnastics?
Jamey: I began teaching gymnastics when I was 10 years old for our local recreation department.  I put myself through college teaching gymnastics.

Is there anything else you would like to share with your students?
Jamey: My classes will focus on increasing strength, flexibility and self-esteem.  Students will learn the importance of stretching, listening, encouraging others, and persevering.  We will always practice it "one more time".

Amy Riley
Dance Assistant - Little Dippers, Twinkles, Galaxy

How long have you worked at Danz Force? 
Amy: This will be my 2nd season assisting.  I was also on the team 3 years when I was younger.

What is your "day" job?
Amy: I work with my family at Riley Industrial Services.

Where did you attend college?
Amy: I attended San Juan College here in Farmington.  I have an Associate's Degree in Business Administration.  

What previous experience do you have in dance?
Amy: I began taking dance lessons when I was three years old.  I took ballet, tap, jazz and tumbling.  I was with Danz Force (used to be SuperSquads) for 2 years.  I was also a Junior High Cheerleader, and then came back to Danz Force and was on the team 2 more years.  I assisted 2 years ago, but was unable to last year because of my school schedule.  I'm glad to be back!
